Don't forget 'bout Ryane Clowe. I thought he had a pretty decent first year in 06-07. Seemed to have slid more toward the latter part of the season. Probably due to being taken off the line that included Thornton and Marleau. There's no telling how the lines will be drawn this season. However, there was talk last year that Clowe earned his initial spot due to Mark Bell's demise. Clowe was everything Bell should have been. Probably with a hint more spice. The departure of Bell to Toronto, coupled with the ascent of Clowe, could bode well for the Sharks and fantasy managers for years to come. Now, don't quote me in case I'm wrong, but I think San Jose has a HUGE catch dangling from the end of the line!
I'm not big on projecting the 3rd line, and if i do project any players from the 3rd line, it's usually the Center(Pavelski in this case), unless the wingers are legit point scorers of course. Clowe will be good down the road, but the most i see benefiting from that 3rd line is Pavelski for now.
